Battery Stores

Battery stores can be used independently or combined with a diesel generator as part of a Green Power solution. We have 5kW (5.6kWh) stores through to 20kW (from 15kWh to 100 kWh) stores and partner with a battery store manufacturer to offer larger units on specialist projects.

Not sure what battery store size is optimal for your project? We can supply smart distro that remotely tracks your energy demand over a defined period and then advise on battery store integration to reduce fuel consumption, CO₂ emissions (and eliminate noise!) during periods of low energy demand.

Hybrid Generators

If you want a 'plug in and play' sustainable power source then a hybrid generator may be the answer. These generators come with a fully integrated battery store that kicks in when energy demand is sufficiently low. Reduced engine run hours means reduced CO₂ emissions and reduced air pollution. You also get silent running power when the battery kicks in.

Battery Store Tower Lights

Our Battery Store tower lights are zero emission and run for up to 72 hours on a full charge. Charged at our depots on a 100% renewable electricity tariff, they are the lighting product of choice for a low carbon shoot. We're talking minimal CO₂ emissions and no nasty local air pollutants (no NOx, fine particulates or CO emissions). All this and silent running too.

If required, the lights can be charged off your unit base generator, which - if already running - means negligible additional CO₂ emissions. 8 hours is sufficient time to fully recharge the light's battery.

Hybrid Tower Lights

Not quite ready to go full-on battery-powered? Why not try one of our hybrid tower lights. These towers combine a small 3.5kVA generator with a lithium battery store that has been perfectly sized for fuel efficient charging. The lamps are powered from the battery and when the store runs low the small engine kicks in to recharge it. CO₂ emissions and air pollutants are all reduced (by up to 80%) and you also get long stints of silent light.

A full tank of fuel (50l) gives you 455 hours of light. The battery will power the lamps for 11 hours 30 minutes before it needs recharging. A full recharge takes 3 hours.

Renewable Diesel

Reducing energy demand and efficient use of energy should be the prime focus of any energy project, but as a next step the fuel chosen to meet residual energy demand should be green, clean and safe.

Our renewable diesel is just that. It's the only fuel that we put in our machines and bowsers.

The EcoPod

Ever since we introduced the tipper trailer to the Film Industry in 2013 we had been looking to develop a more sustainable alternative. The EcoPod enables the user to separate 4 waste streams: food waste, compostables (Vegware), dry mixed recycling (DMR) and general waste. There is no cost for dealing with the recycling - we just charge for tipping the general waste.

This is proper closed loop, circular economy stuff. All food waste goes to an anaerobic digestion plant where it is broken down to create biogas and biofertiliser. Vegware compostables go to an ‘in vessel’ composting facility where they are turned into soil fertilizer;. The DMR goes to a clean Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) where it is separated into raw materials for the remanufacturing of new products and the general (residual) waste goes to a dirty MRF, where any uncontaminated recyclables are recovered and non recyclables are processed into Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) for use in a Waste-to-Energy incinerator.

Waste & Recycling Stations

We spent an age searching for the perfect waste and recycling stations and found these beauties. They are super-robust and can be taken apart for storage or transportation. Each side has a sack holder so the user can easily see which bag he or she should be depositing into. The stations come complete with a double-sided sign-holder, allowing you to insert images of the waste streams you are collecting (we can provide the signage if you so wish).

Location Mats

Location mats are a brilliant alternative to correx. They arrive in a cage with heavy duty rubber casters, ready to roll to where you need them laid out. When the mats come back to us we give them a thorough hoover (and wash if needed) ready for the next user.

Evaporative Coolers

Evaporative air cooling uses up to 80% less energy than conventional A/C; it brings in 100% fresh outside air and utilises water for cooling instead of synthetic chemical refrigerants.

Our unit will help cool ventilated areas of up to 20.4m² . The cooler must be placed next to an open door or window in order to work effectively. You simply fill the unit with water or ice and the machine will blow air through the water mimicking the effect of a seabreeze, ahhh…
