Hot off the press today is the first edition of The Weekly Wrap, Location One’s internal newsletter. The Wrap brings Location One highlights to our teams across the business and includes headline news, a ‘Spotlight On’ interview with a team member and a shout-out and thank-yous section where we big up individual achievements.
Needless to say, the first Spotlight On interview was with our founder Crispin Hardy. Here’s the lowdown:
What’s your role at Location One?
I founded the Business 12 years ago. Where did the time go??! I am the MD and Sales Director.
What three words would you use to describe your role?
Fun / Stressful / Exciting
What is your biggest achievement to date personal or professional?
Professionally every time I look around me and at the brilliant business we have all created together I feel a huge sense of achievement.
If you could switch jobs with someone in the business, who would it be and why?
Any of the drivers (actually that’s pretty much what I’ve been doing the last few weeks as it’s been so busy!). I love delivering the kit to the customers, chatting with them and building those relationships.
Who would play you in a film about your life?
I always loved Michael J Fox and wanted to be him in Back to the Future so I’ll choose him. The only similarity between us though, is that we are both midgets.
Tell us something about yourself that your colleagues may not know…
I was a body double for Tom Hardy in one of his first TV shows (when he didn’t want to lie in a muddy puddle).
