New hybrid tower lights cut the carbon

Our new hybrid tower lights have landed and they are perfect for customers who aren’t quite ready to go full-on battery-powered. These towers combine a small 3.5kVA generator with a lithium battery store that has been perfectly sized for fuel efficient charging. The lamps are powered from the battery and when the store runs low the small engine kicks in to recharge it. Fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and air pollutants are all reduced (by up to 80%) and you also get long stints of silent light.
A full tank of fuel (50l) gives you 455 hours of light. The battery will power the lamps for 11 hours 30 minutes before it needs recharging. A full recharge takes 3 hours.
